27 Egyptian soldiers killed in Rafah - Sinai

27 Egyptian police soldiers were killed early this morning after being captured by armed militants.

The soldiers who were in there final month of service were going back to there units in civilian clothes when a group of armed men stopped their bus and ordered them to step down. The soldiers were then tied their hands backwards and their faces towards the ground when the militants fired their machine guns towards their heads and chest, it is also believed that some of them were decapitated.

25 soldiers died at once, 2 others suffered severe injuries that lead to their death at the end of the day.

This is believed to be related to radical armed Islamic groups who condemn the military coup that was supported by Egyptian people, and after about 5 days after the disengagment of pro Morsi protesters in Rabaa Aladawya and Nahda squares.
