Fasting in Ramadan purifies the soul and body

Fasting is the best way to purify the soul and body. Allah ordered Muslims and those before them to fast
Fasting is regarded as a medical way to purifies the body from any excess or toxic substances or unwanted remains of food .as a result many medical journals treat Fasting as a methods of nutritional treatment ,a Muslim fasts about 12to 16 hours daily ,depending on the season ;winter or summer 'spring or autumn . during these few hours the level of sugar in the blood decreases .the body then attempts to find another source of energy ,and uses the stored carbohydrates in the liver .this stored of food is enough to provide the body with energy for about 6 hours ,after it is used up, the body then breaks down the breaks the store of fat under the skln and around the organs to obtain the required energy .the body also breaks down any unnecessary cells , such as those that are not healthy ,and thus ,gets rid of the toxic substances present . this is followed by building new cells to replace those that were broken down ,all this renews the biological constituents of the body and makes I t more efficient and energetic
