Facebook Ads VS Google Adwords

    After trying both systems for advertising I would like to publicize my experiment with both Google Adwords and Facebook Advertising.

    For those who are somehow busy here is the bottom line :
    Google Adwords is way much better in targeting customers, say like I want an Egyptian man who speak arabic and interested in Social Media to see my ad, here comes the power of Adwords, targeting customers with much cheaper price and higher conversation rates.
    Facebook is very satisfying in mass media campaigns, say like I want to advertise a new general site to all the web, here the best plan is to use sponsored stories advertising in a big Facebook Page.

    In details:
    What I liked in Google Adwords:
    1- Super ad targeting
    2- Higher conversation rates
    3- Interest based ads just deliver your ad to the right person
    4- Much lower costs than Facebook
    5- Templates for animated and flash ads
    6- Downloadable statistics for analysis

    What I did not like in Adwords:
    1- Some how a little complicated for beginners
    2- The old look of ads since adwords started with no change in sizes and look.

    What I liked in Facebook ads:
    1- Very well for getting traffic using sponsored page stories for a bid page (1.3 M fan in my case)
    2- Perfect when there is no targeting.
    3- Increase page activity and likes in bonus

    What I did not like in Facebook ads:
    1- Poor targeting
    2- Higher costs
    3- Traffic generated from FB are much lower in conversation, I do not know it may be my case only, but it seems Facebook visitors do not have much intrest outside Facebook.

    The most important tip I would like to tell is to let Google or Facebook determine the bid for your ads, later stop the high costs/ low conversation ads or keywords.
